Enemy model "Ogrillon" optimized for realtime graphics
The creature was mainly crafted in ZBrush (sculpting and painting) and Softimage (animation and rendering - using Mental Ray).
The ZBrush highpoly model consists of around 15 million quads - for the lowpoly model 4’638 quads were used.
A reduced version with 2’382’336 quads was used for the rendering. All texture maps are resolved in 4096 by 4096.
